Police Department

Chief Keith Vincent is a native of Iowa and is a graduate of Iowa High School. He is a U.S. Army Veteran and college graduate (B.S. Degree from McNeese State & Masters of Science Degree from GCU). He has completed numerous law enforcement related training courses and has over twenty years of law enforcement experience.

He is now serving his third term elected as Iowa Police Chief and looks forward to continue improving the department. During his first term an annual children’s camp was started in 2007 and has continued through every year at no cost to the participants, as well as several other annual functions for the citizens. The department has improved on its equipment and is constantly transitioning into a more modern agency that is more effective on combating crime.

Chief Vincent's primary goal of the Iowa Police Department is protection of life and property, prevention of crime and apprehension of perpetrators.
