Melissa L. Rasberry, M.D., is a family medicine physician specializing in the primary care needs of adults, children and newborns. Dr. Rasberry, a Creole, Louisiana native, graduated from Louisiana State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She earned a medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2009 and completed the three-year Memorial/LSUHSC Family Medicine Residency Program in Lake Charles; focusing on internal medicine and its subspecialties, pediatrics, surgery and its subspecialties, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, psychiatry and community medicine.

Dr. Rasberry is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians, American College of Physicians and American Medical Association.
